For more than twelve years Todd A. Coker has helped his clients obtain the results and recovery that they deserve.
Todd has lived in Mississippi for almost 15 years, but received his undergraduate degree from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Mississippi College School of Law graduating with honors, cum laude. During his tenure at Mississippi College School of Law Todd served on the editorial staff of the Mississippi College Law Review, the law school's Bankruptcy Competition Trial Team and assisted with the law school's legal writing program.
After graduating law school and practicing for a number of years, Todd was invited to clerk for Presiding Justice C.R. "Chuck" McRae at the Mississippi Supreme Court. After Todd's clerkship ended, he went back into private practice where his work has been primarily focused helping injured victims, individuals facing criminal prosecution and families that are dealing with the challenges of bankruptcy and divoce. Todd has also been trained and qualified as a Guardian Ad Litem, where he represents the interests of children in adoptions and other custody matters.
Todd is admitted to practice before all Mississippi Courts, United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi, the 5th Circuit Courts of Appeals, and the Tribal Court of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians.
Todd is a member of the Mississippi Bar Association and belongs to the Mississippi Bar’s Administrative Law and Workers' Compensation section and the Litigation and General Practice section. Todd is also a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Rankin County Bar Association, Hinds County Bar Association, Madison County Bar Association and Jackson Young Lawyers.
Todd has also been a guest lecturer at numerous continuing legal education programs, universities and seminars, speaking to lawyers, students and private citizens alike.
